Food Revolution Day!
We were lucky enough to participate in Jamie Oliver's live cook-off for Food Revolution Day on May 16th! We learned about many food facts in the morning and started making information posters to share what Food Revolution Day was all about!
Then, in the afternoon, we put on our aprons and set up our cooking tables. We made rainbow wraps with fresh fruit and vegetables....we even made our own dressing! Over one million children took part all over the world; it was a global event that we thoroughly enjoyed. The wraps tasted delicious and were surprisingly very easy to make.
Thank you Jamie Oliver for setting up such a fun-filled day and for inspiring us to eat healthy! It's definitely a day that we won't forget.
