Learning about the Amazon Rainforest
Today, we had a very interesting talk about the Amazon Rainforest. Joseph's Dad, Mr. Fairs, is a camera man who travels the world filming for National Geographic and he kindly gave up his time to come in to our class to tell us all about the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil and the life of a tribe he had filmed while he was there. He brought in some really interesting objects for us to look at and we all had a go at blowing darts out of a blow pipe!
