November 2015
Well,we survived Stackpole and after having a very relaxing half term break, we are ready for action as we embark on our WW2 topic.
Throughout the course of this half term, we are looking forward to finding out just what life was like for children living in Wales during the War. We will be trying to use our skills of empathy and understanding to help us imagine how hard the evacuation process was for everyone involved and we will be engaging our mathematical brains to help us look at just how many people were affected by the Blitz Bombings!
In Science we will be investigating air resistance and making different types of parachutes to help us test out our theories whilst in ICT we are excited about improving our coding skills!
Our Dance unit this term is linked to all things Combat but we will be chilling out in our Music Lessons to the calming tones of Adele as we try to discover the link between her and the legend that is Bob Dylan.
Is that all, we hear you cry?!
Of course not!
Our winning Stackpole Blog entries will be posted on the site very soon (as will more photos), we will be recruiting Junior PCOS officers, raising money for Children in Need, making products to sell at our Winter Fete and preparing for our wonderful Carol service at St Denys church.
Roll on Christmas!
