Our Cardiff Bay Barrage Trip!
Yesterday the whole of Year Four had their final school trip to Cardiff Bay. It was a fantastic day which made all of the teachers extremely proud. The children were amazing, the weather was perfect and the adults were pretty well behaved too!
We started off the day having a relaxed stroll around the iconic buildings using our photography skills. Everyone had a go at taking a photograph from all different angles. It was lots of fun.
We were then very lucky to experience a War Horse parade by other schools who had made fantastic puppets. And if that wasn't a big enough treat, we saw the cast of War Horse AND the amazing horse puppet! It was fascinating and actually looked like a real horse. WOW!
After our little treat we all walked over to the park area where we laid out our blankets and had a Year Four picnic! Playing in the park and playing football in the fresh air definitely tired us out and we were all extremely sleepy travelling back to school!
Thank you all, it was a very special trip to finish the year.
