4RJ & 4CP – Monday and Thursday – Dydd Llun a Dydd Iau
Reminders:
Please bring your reading book, reading record and Home School Record Book* to school every day. Diolch yn fawr.
*Home School Record Books will be used to record messages or reminders about events in school.
Reading
Enjoy curling up with your reading book. Read as often as you can at home. It is a good idea to set some time aside every day to read.
Remember to record the title of the book and how many pages you have read in your reading record. Thank you!
Homework
Spelling*
Each week we will have a spelling focus in class and you will stick a list of spellings into your spelling book. You will also complete your spelling test in this book, which you will take home each week for your parents/guardians to see.
4RJ & 4CP – A spelling list comes home on Friday and the test takes place on the following Friday.
Please can you bring your spelling books to school on the correct day.
Literacy, Language and Communication / Mathematics and Numeracy
Each week there will be either an LLC or Mathematics and Numeracy task to support the learning taking place in class.
Health & Well-being Task
In addition, there will be a termly activity related to looking after your mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Home School Research Projects*
Occasionally, we may set a research project linked to our theme for homework. This would replace the weekly LLC/Mathematics & Numeracy task and be set for a certain number of weeks.
*Full details will be provided using an information sheet, which will be stuck into the Home School Learning Record.
