Our first topic this term is "The Big Dip" and we have already done soooooo much! We've been pond dipping, habitat hunting, snail investigating, mini-beast enquiring, creating a musical sound walk of the rainforest and most recently learning about adaptation! And that's in just three weeks! WOW! The children have certainly impressed me so far with their attitude and enthusiasm towards learning.
What a fantastic first half term we have had! We've created our own mini books, collected data showing it in tables and bar graphs AND we've learnt all about food chains and life cycles! Not only have we been busy learning throughout our topic, we've improved and developed our athletic skills in running, throwing and jumping and we choreographed a dance to 'Singing in the Rain' by Gene Kelly that included unison, cannon and mirroring. They were amazing!
So rest up and have a wonderful half term ready to start our next learning adventures in Autumn 2!
