Please bring your reading book, reading record and Home School Record Book* to school every day.
*Home School Record Books will be used to record messages or reminders about events in school.
Homework
Spelling*
*We have set the spelling groups up. A spelling list given out on a Wednesday and the spelling test in on the following Wednesday.
Each week we will have a spelling focus in class. There will be a weekly spelling list or a spelling related activity set on a Wednesday which is due in on the following Wednesday for both classes.
Literacy, Language and Communication / Mathematics and Numeracy
Each week there will be either a LLC or Mathematics and Numeracy task to support your learning.
Reading
Enjoy curling up on the sofa or in your bed with your reading book. Read as often as you can at home. It is a good idea to set some time aside everyday to read.
Remember to record the title of the book and how many pages you have read in your reading record. Thank you 
!
Health & Well-being Task
In addition, there will be a termly activity related to looking after our mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Home School Research Projects*
Occasionally we may set a research project linked to our theme for homework. This would replace the weekly LLC/Mathematics & Numeracy task and be set for a certain number of weeks.
*Full details will be provided in the form of a letter, which will be stuck into the Home School Learning Record.
