Home School Learning

Dear parents/guardians,

We have decided to set up a Seesaw account for Year 1 children to participate in some home learning. Seesaw is a fun and engaging way for children to share a photo or a video of their work with us when they take part in or complete a given task. The children are familiar with Seesaw as they have been using it in school independently.

You have two options for accessing the home-tasks that we set.

  1. Seesaw – we highly recommend this one because we feel that it will be a more fun and interactive way for your children to engage in home-learning. Please click on the SeeSaw button below for a detailed guide on how to use SeeSaw.

  2. School Website – Weekly tasks will be uploaded on the Year 1 page (Click the button below).

We will upload weekly tasks to the website by 9am on Monday morning and we will put each daily task on Seesaw the night before.

If you choose to use Seesaw we will look forward to seeing all the children’s hard work and achievements before archiving the tasks by 5pm. We will then upload the new tasks ready for the next day!

Also, be sure to check out the useful websites button below for plenty of extra things you can do with your children to keep them learning and happy.

Thank you once again for all your support so far this year!

We will see you all soon!

Mr Watkin, Mrs Turner and Mrs Gardner
