Our first few days.

The children have settled really well and it is great to see them coming in by themselves and finding their own pegs.  We are so proud of them.  They have loved learning new songs and have enjoyed snack-time too!
*Please could you send in a pair of wellies for your child to keep in nursery as we often like to splash in puddles and go for walks on the field.  Also snack money for the Autumn term is £15 please pay asap in order for us to purchase the foods, thank you.

We’ve had a very busy first half term! We’ve settled in and started to make new friends. We made play dough faces and then used sweets to add our features to our biscuit face 😋 yum, yum! Amazing Autumn has arrived and we’ve been learning lots about the new season. Some of our favourite songs are 5 Red Apples and Mr Scarecrow. Tasting apples and printing with them was great fun!

Some vegetables grow in the ground. We enjoyed washing, peeling, chopping and cooking them to make a yummy soup which we ate for snack.

We really enjoyed our second term in nursery.  We made Pudsey biscuits for Children in Need and dressed in our pyjamas. We learned lots of songs and words for our Nativity 'Whoops-A-Daisy Angel' which we performed for our Mums, Dads and Grandparents.  Santa came to visit us at our Christmas party and we had great fun dancing and playing party games. Dressing up in Christmas costumes was great fun too! We had our very own Elf in nursery who would visit us through his special door at night and leave some special treats and messages for us everyday.

Welcome back!

We were excited to come back to school to see our friends and to tell them all about our Christmas presents.  Our new role-play corner 'The Jolly Post-Office' is great fun! We've been learning about the journey of a letter and people who work through the night sorting the mail before it arrives at our door.

Well done to all the children for their ‘Sheep’ entries for our school Eisteddfod. There really were some super examples and variations both 2D and 3D. The children enjoyed watching the older children on the BIG stage in the hall - singing, reciting and showing their musical talents on a range of musical instruments. They sat brilliantly throughout, we were very proud of them!🎤🎹🎺🎸🎻🥁

Activities for Children who are self-isolating at home.

Play I-spy with the letter sounds s, a, p, t, i, n .

If using i-Pads the number formation app is good 1-5, dot-to-dot app, sorting games.
