Homework

Homework (Literacy, Maths or Theme-based) will be given out each Friday and needs to be returned by the following Friday.

Please ensure any homework brought into school is named.

Spelling

Each child has their own spelling book which needs to be brought into school every Monday. All spelling lists and tests will be kept in this book so it is really important that this book is kept safe.

Spellings will be given out on a Monday. The children will be tested on their spelling words on a Monday if they have been given a list of words to learn.

Alternatively, if they have been given a task/activity please can this be returned the following Monday.

Home School Record Books

All of the children have been sent home with Home School Record Books.

The children need to bring these into school every day to record important messages and/or reminders.

It would also be useful to record the title and page number of the book the children are reading within these records.

Reading Books

Please can children bring a reading book with them to school to use during our set independent reading times each day. They can keep these in school until the finish them before taking them home to swap.

Alternatively, there are reading books in school for the children to use.
