Seeing Stars!
We have had such a great term learning about the Earth and beyond and we have improved our scientific enquiry skills and now know heaps of interesting facts about our solar system.
Today, Year 5 had a visit from Techniquest's Starlab. They set up their enormous inflatable planetarium in our school hall and we had to crawl along a long dark tunnel to get inside. The ceiling looked like the night sky filled with hundreds of stars and we were able to identify some of the star patterns called constellations. It was amazing! A real end of term treat!
