Spelling

 

Each week we will have a spelling focus in class.  There will be a weekly spelling list or a spelling related activity set on a Wednesday and due in on the following Wednesday for both classes.

 

Literacy, Language and Communication / Mathematics and Numeracy 

Each week there will be either a LLC or Mathematics and Numeracy task to support your learning.

 

Reading

Enjoy curling up on the sofa or in your bed with your reading book.  Read as often as you can at home.  It is a good idea to set some time aside everyday for your reading. 

  

Health & Well-being Task

In addition, there will be a termly activity related to looking after our mental health and emotional wellbeing.  

 

Home School Research Projects

Occasionally we may set a research project linked to our theme for homework. This would replace the weekly LLC/Mathematics & Numeracy task and be set for a certain number of weeks
