Hi Year 5
This week we have really enjoyed finding out about your own personal experiences during ‘Lock-down’ alongside the mathematics and theme work we set for you. We really do appreciate the effort you have taken to upload your work and ‘share’ it with us. We hope that you have found the work set related to our topic ‘Water – too much, too little and too dirty’ fun and interesting.
We would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to you all for all your hard work during your time in year 5 but especially during these last 14 weeks whilst you have been home school learning. It has been a pleasure to view and comment on your work. You have impressed us with so many of your skills and also demonstrated great independence, adaptability and flexibility.
We also recognise and greatly value the help and support you have been given by your parents/guardians, wider family members, tutors and your friends throughout this academic year. A big thank you to everyone!
As you enter your last week of Year 5, we wanted home learning this week to be a little bit different. We thought it would be great to end this academic year with an exciting project! This is an opportunity for you to showcase all your fantastic skills; your creativity, your mathematical talents, your ability to persuade, your video editing skills and your endless imagination……and possibly even the chance to get baking! We cannot wait to see what you share with us this week as we present to you…
‘A Baker’s Dozen…’ - have a read of the home school task sheet to find out all the details.
We hope you all have a well-deserved summer break!
